MoonWalking through London

May 22, 2016

We did it!

We joined 15,000 other inspirational men and women, walking the pavements, and spectacular sights and scenes of London on Saturday night for Walk The Walk’s annual MoonWalk!

Clapham Common was transformed into MoonWalk City, with a gigantic City tent, moons and a lot of boobs, bras and pink, ready for the night ahead!

This year’s theme was Carnival, so our sponsored bras were doused in glitter, gold and feathers!

This year we did the Half Moon Walk, a 15 mile walk from Clapham Common, into central London and back again just in time for sunrise!

We set off at 23.08, and arrived on the finish line at 4.52, 16 minutes under our target time! Woohoo!!

It was an inspirational night, seeing 15,000 unite against breast cancer, not to mention the hundreds of volunteers who cheered us on all night long, along with the members of public who clapped along the streets!

A final push for our fundraising page, please donate from small to big- every little counts in efforts to kick cancer’s butt! If we all unite, the effects of breast cancer can be a thing of the past! One boob at a time, we’ll get there! See you next year MoonWalk, it was a pleasure to be a part of it!

Love A&F x
